Small Italian grocery makes the best subs on Grand Ave. Which means the best in town. Decent deli meats and cheeses selection (and they’ll make up a tray for your next party), and a small meat counter where you can get steaks, pork chops, house-made Italian and Barese sausages, and the quintessential Nona ingredient: pork neck bones, for your next batch of Sunday gravy. Long rack of pasta, good freezer case, a few fresh vegetables, and the Grand Ave dinner special: homemade sauces, beef, and soups.

Best italian subs! Make sure you order it "hot" with some giardiniera. The caprese was a miss. It needed salt and olive oil, but the mozzarella was great. BEST BREAD. Old school. Nice staff. Well stocked store with italian foods you can't get anywhere else. Gotta love it.

Great people at Bari and the best sandwiches! I particularly enjoy the Italian sub sandwich with mild giardinare, the bread, the meats and cheese all come together for a real treat! Pick up some pasta fully prepared or ready for cooking while waiting for your sandwich or call ahead to order!

Truly the best subs in the entire city. Incredible quality and very nice people working behind the counter. While they are known for the subs, I recommend the seafood salad.
